interesting story, made me think of the German word Mokka – in favour during the 50th and 60th before the espresso was known – a demie tasse of coffee, stronger than the ‚dishwater coffee‘, in a cup size between an espresso cup and a normal sized one! Got out of fashion afterwards but my parents had one of these mokka services.

I recently shared your post about coffee and when it was seen as “inappropriate” with my nibblings, we loved it and ended up talking about it the whole day.
I have not had coffee since Wednesday and I’m feeling a bit off. I left my tins (two of them) of coffee at the office and didn’t want to waste money by going to restock. I took Thursday and Friday off work to refresh my mind. Can’t wait to get to the office tomorrow and hug them.
Happy coffee day.

I did read A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Eggers but lost track of him. I will try The Monk of Mokha.
