We have had our silver-ish 2007 Honda …. for years. We will wear out long before it does.
It probably has lasted so long because we barely drive it anymore.

This post caused me to think your previous post, and I wondered how anyone could fit lots of sequoia saplings into a Subaru. The company should use that in a commercial. :)

I’ve always said that I’m going to pass my Subaru onto my granddaughters. The first one can drive in just 4 years and the car is in great shape for 11 years old so we’ll see…

I have had three Outbacks loved them all but we only get petrol versions on the UK market now so went back across to Toyota – it looks in immaculate condition, how many miles on the clock?

Oh, she’s a beaut. I know you’ll miss her. I still have my 2011 Subie Forester and expect she’ll outlive me. (Only 22,000 miles, driven by a little old lady to the grocery store and doctor’s office. Honest!)

Keep on running, Sylvia. I get a kick out of seeing my old Pathfinder around town. The lady I sold it to drove like a bat out of hell on our test drive, but I restrained myself from saying anything. She’s passed me a couple of times when I’m walking down the street, still driving the same way.

yes, but it certainly was time and Pete is hiding but came out last night and played and had some treats. olive is not yet thrilled but know they will grow together over time.

Always nice when you know the car is going to someone who needs it. That Outback should have just enough room for the sousaphone. Did you get another Subaru?
My Crosstrek already has plans to adopt our 14 year old granddaughter. It only has 143,000 miles on it right now. I am amazed out how reliable the car has been.

Mine had 45K on it when I bought it. Best car decision I have ever made. Only thing I slightly don’t like about my Crosstrek is the lack of trunk space. It’s adequate, but small when traveling.

I have travelled with four on extended trips several times, and brought my bicycle with me each time. Mine has a hitch receiver, so I use a hitch mounted bike rack. It could also use one of those hitch mounted carriers. With the little bit of extra ground clearance, the car is perfect for carrying bikes.
