stating that bagels would be given as a gift to any woman in childbirth.

  7. I am a member of the bagel brigade every day of the year, Beth. I don’t eat them daily, but my car is ready to pull over at the sight of a bagel shop and my shopping cart migrates toward the bagel selection in the supermarket each visit.

  10. Such a clever twist on the painting! When I worked nights in the police in London, one of the patrol cars would go to a 24-hour bagel shop in East London and pick up salt beef bagels. They were my favourites. They spell Beigel correctly too. (On their sign) The shop is still there, but the prices have skyrocketed since 2012! I used to pay £4.50 for two, and they are now £8.15 each! https://www.beigelbake.co.uk/

  14. oh, somebody is ALWAYS thinking of doing a fun thing with anything. Good old van gogh would roll over at the sight of this – or throw his other ear at the cause of this sacrilege…
    bagels are something i did miss for a long time after returning from canada. but we‘ve other ‚sexy‘ rolls in so many styles to fullfill every filling/topping wish ;)
