where will he go next?

Where will he go next, this phantom from another time, this resurrected ghost of a previous nightmare – Chicago?  Los Angeles? Miami, Florida? Vincennes? Indiana? Syracuse? New York? Any place, every place where there’s hate, where there’s prejudice, where there’s bigotry – he’s alive. He’s alive so long as these evils exist. Remember that when he comes to your town. Remember it when you hear his voice speaking out through others. Remember it when you hear a name called, a minority attacked, any blind, unreasoning assault on a people or any human being. He’s alive because through these things we keep him alive. – Rod Serling

    • they do run the show on the sci-fi channel here and do marathons on various weekends, he really was ahead of his time. originally he was going to do a show about these issues in more of a direct way, but they kept censoring his message, so we decided to go the sci-fi route because censors didn’t understand it and he could still get his message across to those who did understand

  5. Beth, I can’t even fathom what you and other sane minded Americans are going through as you process the latest news. So scary and disturbing. And you’re right, it frighteningly begs the question, what’s next?

  9. The Specter of Fear haunts everyone, and no one can identify it. Even our Prez is acting irrationally. Lately, iI’ve been looking into the Salem witch trials of 1692-3 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony. It was a “mass psychosis” regarding witchcraft.

  12. Apparently, even the Native Americans came from other places. Those in Northern regions came from northern climates, ocean islands, and maybe the Bering Strait thatvreaches close to Russia. Whalers set up settlements in North America. Even when there are no written records, there is evidence of human-like leavings in land. Maybe none were meant to be permanent or to last through the different seasons.

  22. Lest he forget, we were all immigrants just a few generations ago. Even he and his ancestors. I watch, incredulously, as the Twilight Zone theme swells … I wish covering my eyes and hiding under a blanket still worked.

  29. Wow, what a great reminder! I’m in Aurora, Colorado, waiting for the federal troops to eventually arrive, to deal with a problem that I have never, ever noticed that made national news and was a big campaign talking point. He even called it Operation Aurora. FFS. It is hard to describe how out of control and misdirected this administration is when viewing it from ground zero in the hate campaign. It’s almost like there is a plan to stoke hate and division so we won’t notice what is actually going on…
