having grown into a wonderful human

and innovative artist.

  1. How awesome! It’s is always wonderful running into a former student. Give me a warm fuzzy and an occasional funny story. My chiropractor was a student at my school when I was in my third and fourth year. I had his little brother ten years after he was a student. Kids do grow up and become adults. 2. These have been some of my favorite moments in education, something I’ve written about several times. My analogy is it’s like reading the early part of a book or viewing the beginning of a movie and then stepping back in somewhere in the middle.

  3. This is as good as it gets! I love stories of connecting with former students. You must be bursting with pride, Beth. Of course your Pre-K art and creativity made a lasting impression. Did you know he was going to be at the art fair, or were you surprised?

    • Yes absolutely, so good. I hope our class was a good beginning for him way back in the day, he was always a very creative boy. I’ve been following his art career going to a couple little shows that he’s had and his mom told me he was going to be in the fair. I was so excited for him.
