someone built these structures
on the shores of lake superior
a place for people
sit, relax, gather, rest
contemplate
‘whatever good things we build end up building us.’

another winning combo – a beautiful sunset and a Jim Rohn quote! You’re on a roll! (well you’ve actually been on a roll for 13 years) :)

well, some days are ‘roll-ier’ than others, but thanks! just another made up word included)

And perhaps one day was, or will be, your roll-iest!

This month I have seen Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, Beth … and now you are showing me Lake Superior. Great month for our Great Lakes for me! Thank you for this share.

That is so cool! I visited Lake Superior one year, the Pictured Rock National Seashore… I was not prepared for the immensity of it all. Love these structures 😎

I talked to a local about it for a minute and all he told me was that they have been there for a while and have held up well, through all the weather

Incredible structures. Do they last through the winter?

don’t know, other than an local told me that had been there for a while and had held up ‘through the weather.’ I wish I had time for a longer conversation.

Looks like a great spot for a bonfire! Well away from the wooden structures, of course.
