  1. “You aren’t going to save the world on your own. But you might inspire a generation of kids to save it for all of us. You would be amazed at what inspired children can do.” ~ Jane Goodall

  2. Jane Goodall is one of my classroom ‘scientists.’ Each table group has a different scientist for a total of nine scientists. While we don’t cover animal behavioral science in sixth grade, we do experience it. She was a pure scientist who practiced observing, then making inferences about what she witnessed. She lived an amazing life and influenced so many others.

  3. I remember it was in middle school that we watched a short film for Science class about Jane Goodall. What an incredible life’s work and legacy and what a loss to the wildlife and environmental care community. May she rest in peace.

  4. I didn’t know she was gone. Great loss. I’m happy she stopped by to make the world a better place for gorillas and for humans as well. I don’t want all the good people to leave but I’m counting on the ones who are here to step forward to fill the gaps. We need to carry on the work of those who are no longer with us but have fought for justice and for life.
