checking in with the buddhist monks again
still on their walk for peace journey
across the states
we can all use a bit of peace today
When peace, compassion, and loving-kindness shine in our hearts, all the barriers that seemed to divide us simply dissolve, and what remains is the beautiful truth we might have forgotten: we were never strangers, only family and friends who hadn’t yet recognized each other.
May you and all beings be well, happy, and at peace.

It would be wonderful if countries would declare PEACE, FRIENDSHIP, and COEXISTENCE, instead of what they are declaring now… (Loved the quote from the monks)

Oh, Beth…this one went straight to the heart this morning:
“May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace…”
Simple, profound, perfect. 💝

I love this, Beth. Just what I needed to hear this morning. When the world feels like it’s burning, a gentle rain of love and goodwill to put out those fires.

The Buddhist monks are definitely on the track we should all be striving to take. Love the quote.

That is so good what they do! I used to visit a Buddhist temple regularly many years ago. I should start that again. The peaceful energy and contentment I absorbed were so life-changing.

The looks on the faces of the children is wonderful and I love the pink outfit on the little girl. The monks accepting the flowers is so sweet. Teach the children young and keep them away from the war machine and peace may have a chance to bloom. Beautiful photo and post. ❤️

We can learn from these monks about peaceful protest, about connecting to others, about kindness and love and the list goes on and on. Thank you, Beth, for keeping us updated on their protest.

What a fantastic thing to do. If only foreign policy focussed on peace rather than (short term) self-interest
