It doesn’t get fresher than that! (I have a lot of out of control Rosemary growing madly in our back garden. Perhaps I should think about selling it.) ☺️
Best wishes, Pete.

Wow–such a wonderful idea! If it’s nearby, it’s almost like having it in your garden.

I could’ve used some cilantro the other night… but a little goes a long way when it comes to herbs. keep exploring, you never know what you might find, even without your glasses!

287lbs of jam? sweet lord. That was a bumper year then. My herb garden used to be on a terrace, then I moved, and now I have to go to the farmers’ market for the fresh stuff. It does make such a difference when you have fresh herbs readily available.

early settlers in new zealand so probably a huge crop, but maybe she didn’t mean to post pounds, but author wrote it as written, i’m guessing maybe jars instead?

I’m so jealous! I tried growing my own herbs, but unfortunately, they didn’t do well. There’s nothing better than fresh herbs!

This is a great idea. Fresh herbs are so much better than store-bought or dried. I wish I had planted some.
