  12. Interestingly, Betty White’s quote alludes to two songs, “A Cockeyed Optimist” (1949, from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “South Pacific”) and “Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive” (1944, music by Harold Arlen, lyrics by Johnny Mercer).

  31. I like the message – straight to the point! Betty White certainly embodied that ethos, with her positive strength and great sense of humour. Probably why she lived right up to almost 100!
