after a weekend adventure on the water
some of my photos
turned out
as patches of solid shades of color
each a bit different
all shades of autumn, my favorite season
nothing i saw looked like these
wondering where this lovely series of shades came from and how they got there.

There are many shades of colors, Beth. 🎨

How unusual. Was this on a film camera, or digital? A phone camera perhaps? It’s an interesting mystery. 😊
Best wishes, Pete.

In that case, I’m guessing it was taking photos inside your clothing.

that makes perfect sense, but still wonder about the different shades, then =

Could be to do with the changing light levels inside the pocket as you moved around. Just a guess.

I take photos in my pockets! Love the colors. We actually visited the Ruskin House in the Lakes District in England. Gorgeous property.

I had a similar experience with my camera. I had placed it, fully assembled, on the back seat of my car, but forgotten to turn it off. Apparently, the bouncing of the car combined with the heavy strap to trigger the shutter… which took a quick series of shots of the back of the front seat, totally out of focus, in cognac.

Magical colours and, as you said, very seasonal. They are a very pleasant mystery.

Well, I hope you also got some shots of what you really wanted to capture, but you also went on a psychedelic artistic journey you will always remember!

How very strange, Beth. Although, I agree — they are lovely autumnal shades. Maybe the Great Pumpkin sent them. ;) Hugs.

I don’t know how this happened, but this used to happen to me in the old days when I used real film (not digital) and I accidentally opened the camera before the film was done.
