Bwahahaha! I’ve used traffic safety cones as a hat too. Ha! I see a young Safety Director at work here, familiarizing him/her self with the critical euipment of the job. If this is your class Beth, you could also introduce them to the fact that if you turn the cone upsidedown it becomes a larged sturdy funnel.
Love the face – also a Safety Director’s face – “Lookit here, this giant red seal fits perfectly over the safety cone – so there!”
this wasn’t even his costume, he just made it up when we had indoor recess on halloween, but i do agree, this would be the perfect costume for any kid into construction )
Oh Lordy, love the tongue! What a face! 😄 xx

The great thing about traffic cones is that they are one size fits all.

HA! I love his spirit and the cone on his head…nothing like a rainy day to bring out the spirit in some kids.

Wonderful costume, and close to my heart. When my son was little he was fixated on construction cones. He would have loved this cone costume!
