That little ledge that has no name. See it? Wondering if I should worry about fitting in. Or wondering if I should worry about not worrying about not fitting in.
So cute – where do you find these things? I would be on the “procrastination patio” right now because I’m buried with work and don’t have any time to write anything. Hope to move into the “cave of reclusive genius” soon and then exit via the “first draft furnace” by the end of the week – thanks for the game plan anyways!
Oh my – it’s all here in one place! Cute. (Love the Thesaurus…used to be one of the biggest places to get lost and distracted before the internet…giggled over it’s habitat placement in the pix)
This is brilliant! I’d be found somewhere between desperation drop and the emergency idea generator. That would be because I spend most of my time playing pingpong on procrastination patio… 🙂
Classics library, Internet free cafe and brain storm rotunda for me. Such a perfect post for where I am at the moment. Lots of ideas and brainstorming, reviews in my head. I’m not at an Internet free cafe however. Although I pretended I was and wrote in my book for a while instead.
The reflecting pool for sure. And I would be hoping no one would be taking a dip and riling the waters. What good is a reflecting pool if the water isn’t mirror-like? 😉
This was fun and I would like to be on the island, even if it is for “cliche’s!” Also, when I need a coffee and would like to relax, I bet not too many people would be in the “internet free cafe!” I might join you on the magic realist pier, to see what it is like there! Smiles!
I spent my first 55 years in the print graveyard and my last two in the WiFi hotspot, Beth. Ha. And that makes me laugh tonight. What an illustration you shared.
procrastination patio or the shrine of the muse is where you would normally find me, however i agree with your comment, every spot has something to offer and i am sure we have all been to these places more than once 🙂
I like to travel around – a lot! And this is a helpful map to guide me back to where I should be – somewhere between first draft furnace and plot labyrinth.
I would be hanging out at the procrastination patio for sure 😉
