if you are the kind of person who is waiting for the ‘right’ thing to happen,
you might wait for a long time.
It’s like waiting for all the traffic lights to be green for five miles before starting the trip.

I always live in hope they turn green before I get to them and in the scheme of things a few minutes difference, compared to what there is to worry about in this world … Food for thought Beth. ❤️

Oh my goodness, Beth! Where is this traffic nightmare?! 🙂
What a perfect quote, too. Sounded like Jack Kerouack.

Oh my..traffic lights…come to Thailand.. green means go! Amber means go faster! Read means foot to the floor! and if you think I jest..I most certainly don’t and driving on the left means absolutely nought…..you meet car and bikes coming towards you and the driver looks so surprised when you indicate..you fool wrong way…..Just saying 🙂

It’s interesting how many images and associations are signaled (sorry) by traffic lights. The main thing is to make them, move on in life. Run them a bit, avoid getting caught, keep rolling, get home in time for the Late show.
