“every once in a while, someone will mail me a single popcorn kernel that didn’t pop.
i’ll get out a fresh kernel, tape it to a piece of paper and mail it back to them. “

“so random but a couple months ago a boy scout came to our door selling popcorn.
he told V, “i know it’s not as good as the cookies but it’s what we do.” 😂😂

I love popcorn. We have it around here for our 7 PM snack time about 2 times a month to change from sweets.

I have never understood popcorn! It is like chewing polystyrene!

I can see that, but I absolutely love it)

HaHa, I suppose we have different tastes each side of the Atlantic, chips or fries, fatty bacon or cardboard strips?

Seriously?? Hm….I absolutely love it. Maybe try more butter on it for a less “polystyrene” texture…. 😉

Seriously! I have always thought it weird to eat something that tastes of nothing. Rice cakes are another example!

I love popcorn! I pop it the old fashioned way, on the stove top. 🙂 I buy popcorn from the Boy Scouts every year!

But I must say that recently I had to move away from a family bucket of UK provincial movie house popcorn (why should it smell like someone has eaten it already?) with accompanying family. No child should ever consume a drink whose colour is cyan!

Ha, this is such a fun idea! So cool!!! I mostly don’t get to see the “faces” because I only focus on eating once I start…. lol!

Gives new meaning to playing with your food. I believe there is a kernel of truth to Orville’s comment.

Just checking, it probably is obvious~ but the popcorn art project was one you found in the Victor Nunes art? It looks like something you might create, Beth! ❤

It inspires me and we need to do this sometime when we aren’t hungry and ready to finish all the popcorn off! 😉

Ah, old fashion pop corn hot off the stove – with the burned pieces on the bottom….then there was the one that you put on the stove top and it turned into a huge silver volley ball and you burned your fingers opening it. Microwave is good, but Boy Scouts are just so darn cute.
Love the corny pop creatures

Popcorn is one of my favorite parts of going to movies too, although I generally only go once or twice a year. I have always refused to buy the bags of popcorn, but I bought some before I went to India and loved it. At least it is a good, reasonably low calorie snack!
