I have no clue, but I remember after Daniel died I asked the priest who was very good to everyone, and who had cried during the ceremony, how could he think this was okay? How could it be better for a young boy to leave his family? And he replied, ‘I have to believe that.’
I didn’t really understand for a while what he meant, but now I do. It’s what a lot of people believe, they don’t know for sure, but they want to believe.
