kinder collects pretty flowers

picked from the garden

with fairies hiding within

to give to her mom

mom will be so happy

and the fairies will too.

“the fleeting flowers-

which mostly bloom for only a couple weeks-

have long served as spiritual metaphors,

and a reminder to live in the present moment.”

  2. You’ve stirred wonderful memories of bringing flowers to my own mother: lily of the valley, violets, and dandelions. If we’re lucky, we learn the pleasure of giving early.

  3. Dorinda wrote a poem (I think it was yesterday) about kids picking flowers for their moms. This is so lovely to see this again. It always touched me when they surprised me with picked flowers in their little hands 😍
