My girls’ school had reading buddies. Fourth grade and kindergarten. I loved those connections. My girls still remember who read to them – and who they read to. If you can’t be an astronaut or cowboy or second baseman, you can always be a friend. LikeLiked by 2 people Reply ↓

Charlotte or her speaker is right! Real friendship, a all too rare thing…. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
My 4th grade teacher read “Charlotte’s Web” to us. I hate, hate, hate spiders but darn, did I bawl at the end. I have a well-worn copy, bought about thirty years ago. I read it at least once a year. And, I still bawl my eyes out at the end. Even your quote made me a bit misty-eyed. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
