returning.

Standard

with

one sister visiting

one sister gone too soon

 only brother on his way

 grandchildren in tow

we visited the place

where we had grown up.

it looked much the same

yet felt somehow not.

 much like us.

to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”

  1. Beautiful – and sad….. Can’t say I’d like to re-visit my childhood home, a pokey flat on the 1st floor of a loveless-built housing block – but the memories of a fairly unsensational but joyful childhood (mostly!), THAT I would revisit at any time! 🙂
As always, ALWAYS, a masterly crafted post about something ‘ordinary’ – hopefully with more positive than other memories staying with you. Thanks, also ‘as always’ 😉
