while working hard to gather rocks for the garden
we look up to see the buzzards patiently waiting
the pressure is on
as we pick up the pace
and wonder
just who/what are they waiting for?
“winning comes down to who can execute under pressure.”

OMG this is so funny! Sometimes when my husband cuts grass they circle overhead. He said he knows he’s old but they could wait until he dies. Then he said maybe they know something he doesn’t! 😂🤣😂

Ha. I was on a big salt lake near Trona, CA, lying on the white surface with my arm stuck down into the icy muck underneath the salt, groping for big crystals. A buzzard landed about six feet from me. He was really disappointed when I sat up and told him to beat it. It was kinda scary, but made me laugh.

I’ve seen Turkey Buzzards in Napa Valley’s wine area – they sit on telephone poles int he morning and let the sun warm them up…massive in size…why it’s always a good idea to keep an eye open to what’s up above you!

If I’d been there with you, I would have tried to talk you into lying down on the ground to play a practical joke on those buzzards. 🙂

I’m going to be an annoying pedant here. Those are vultures. Buzzards are actually the kinds of hawks we most commonly see, like red tail hawks. I guess it doesn’t really matter, unless you’re a raptor getting a bad rap for being something you’re not. ❤ https://www.beautyofbirds.com/buzzards.html

Ooh, good to know. Thank you. And I suppose either might have an interest in my early demise )

No. The buzzard would kill you. 🙂 Actually, not. They’re not usually carrion eaters, but sometimes.

Weird, I tried to put it in just as a link, not the vid. Sorry!
Many don’t like the vid, just the link.
