(no explanation about the alien orb)
—
that moment when you are walking
‘here comes the sun’ clicks on
the sun returns
as it always eventually does
the universe in alignment.

The sun has been waiting until dinner time to make her debut around here lately. What the hell is she doing all day?

We got to take a walk around the blocks with the sun shining when I got off work-at-home duty yesterday, Beth, and it was splendid for the spirit.

Western Oregon has a well deserved reputation for being grey and wet. When the sun shines it is glorious. We never take seeing and feeling it for granted.

The orb is flare from shooting directly into the sun. You can prevent that with a lens hood or holding hand over the top the camera to create a little shade.
