  1. This reminds me of a path flanked by palm trees at the zoo in Naples, FL. Every time I take my kids and we get to that spot I stop and tell the kids I’m a Queen and that we are having a Royal Procession. (They used to participate but now it’s just down right embarrassing to them – even my 5 yo. That doesn’t stop me though… I just can’t help myself.) Trees!

  2. That is so very true. I spent a lot of time climbing them and siting on their branches. So much fun. Actually there was only one goo climbing tree on our block. Believe it or not there was an empty lot on our block. The tree was cut down to put a house up, but at least I had had some time to play in the tree before it was gone forever. So sad.

  3. I love trees! Great picture!
They add so much beauty to each season as they change;provide home for nests and new baby birds, provide music as the wind blows them about; give us shade on hot days. Such an integral part of life.

  4. Yes! I was telling my son only two days ago, the only reason we have the tallest tree in the subdivision is because we decided to plant a cottonwood tree 13 years ago simply because I have loved the way the wind sounded in their leaves when I used to swim at Deep Eddy in my childhood. If not for that memory, we would probably have a very short tree in our yard.
