how did this chair end up here
still sitting by the side of the road
after you weren’t?

A chair fell off my truck while moving 35 yrs ago, don’t remember going down a cobble stone road though at night during a blizzard in Pack City, Utah ⛷ 😉

So sad. I’d even feel better if it was upright. Poor thing.

Hmm…methinks the driver of the pickup it fell out of didn’t notice. Either that or it’s a new style of highway cone.

Who knew a chair could look so sad and abandoned. I love how you see the world with entirely new eyes.

Looks like an old classroom chair. Poor thing. It had a job and now it’s waiting for someone to take it to the dump. 😦

I had some of those moments of sadness when we were getting my mother-in-law’s house ready to be rented. She was moving into assisted living as her dementia had progressed to the point she didn’t recognize her children. We held an estate sale at her home. We tried to donate many of the remaining items, but some things ended up in a big dumpster. It seemed so sad to toss away items that once held value to a person.

Yes, that’s so hard. I guess you have to look at it as they enjoyed them for a time and served their purpose, but still sad
