Unless you are a refugee family fleeing religious/economic/political/racial violence and you come to the USA of course. In that case your children may be taken from you and there is literally no guarantee Of their liberty, security, or even that you will ever see them again.
We humans are a complex stew of good stuff and bad stuff. We are predatory and we are artistic, sometimes both. All I can do is my best and keep hope alive.
