I remember when I was in Philadelphia last year, and reading/reciting my “Dragon Trilogy” fairy-tale to my cousins grandies,,,,with all the action scenes as well…. I’m not sure who had the most fun, the kids, or me… truly a joyful occasion…
Before the virus, Iβd see that frequently at the library and smile. Not as often with by-appointment visiting, but Iβm assuming itβs happening more at home now!
It was a daily tradition in our house. I volunteered for the SMART program for awhile and will probably do that again, when the pandemic eases. If you can get a youngster to care about a character in a book, they will eventually read on their own and love it.
