  1. I hear/read comments like, “This election probably won’t affect me one way or the other.”
    And as I am pretty close to the end and there will be no grandchildren, I might agree.
    But we must think about and vote for the future of all the young and those yet to come.

  2. I feel like I walked across the street to our polling place, Beth, and cast my ballot for all the people in the past who fought and struggled for democracy and all the people in the future that I want to experience its glory.

  3. I’ve thought often about voting for the young in this election. We have a 21-year-old running for county commissioner in my district. I was incredibly happy to see his name on the ballot. He’s informed, well-spoken, passionate, compassionate and more and already has a history of civic involvement. He gives me hope for the future.
