  1. yes, thank you for your service; In Oz they are mainly Vietnam Vets; I still see some at the gym; they don’t speak much about those times; the ones I know who were called up did not experience combat. I hope we are not involved in another war —

  20. I like that we recognize veterans each year on a specific day, but what would be more powerful would be for us to find ways to support them 365 days a year. It’s heartbreaking to learn that veterans too often can’t get the help they need physically and emotionally.
