once again, i love the advice/warning/humor posted on my local nextdoor page:
‘As anyone may be traveling east on Ann St. and crossing N. Division… be suuuuper careful! In the morning the sun is blazing right into one’s eyes, and equally, throughout the day, there’s tons of traffic, slower paced pedestrians, fast paced bicyclists in a dedicated bike lane and a jog in the road. I even saw a person on a unicycle in a traffic lane yesterday! It is one hellacious level of “Frogger”! 🐸🚗”

Better than being a bad example, like the many that are given to children on the tele these days…

Next time I am dealing with traffic and crazy drivers, I need to remind myself that I’m just playing a game of frogger. It won’t change what is happening, but it might lessen my level of restoration.

We use that analogy too. It fits for trying to cross Hwy 101.

The episode of “Seinfeld” where George tries to take home his local Frogger console and plays a game of real frogger dodging traffic is classic!

hilarious, someone just reminded me of that!

This is awesome!! I think that’s how people become a bit more careful and are more relaxed in the traffic when they think of this note.

Life is a game of Frogger except you get worse at it over the years instead of better with repetition

that is so true, reaction time slows to a crawl, along with a diminished understanding of the rules, and you don’t get gold star rankings or prizes

That’s very cool. It reminds me of George Costanza crossing Frogger Street with a Frogger Game on Seinfeld. My favorite episode.

And your quote at the end!!! Oh, how I hope I’m never a terrible warning, but it can happen at times. Like don’t start a good book when you’re due at a doc’s appt an hour later and look up to see three hours have gone by. That’s a warning, folks :-)
