I love sunflowers and I actually love the fact they are a symbol of peace. We have a park in Raleigh, NC that has a field of zillions of sunflowers. They are so beautiful!

how lovely that it is close to you, and also in Ukraine, they have embraced this as a symbol as well

A sunflower brings happiness to its beholder. We need more sunflowers and more happiness.

I had never paid much attention to sunflowers until I fell in love with them when we lived in Kansas for six years in the 1990’s.

sunflowers should be the emblem of the UN :)

yes, that would be great. Ukraine’s symbol right now, and could represent all who seek peace

Thanks for posting this, Beth. Too bad our actions don’t equal our rhetoric. Words mean little if we’re not actually going to stand up for those who can’t stand for themselves.
