  1. I just finished watching an Italian limited series on Netflix called “Deceitful Love” (fabulous!) and I couldn’t help think that I wish people made more of an effort in their dress. Maybe not heels and skirts for a ball game but still. :)
    We have all (most of us) chosen comfort in casual.

  2. What a flashback. Stockings and heels, never pants. I was not allowed to wear pants through college. The only jeans were for farmers, sold at Sears. My first football game was watching the Baltimore Colts. Johnny Unitas was playing. I remember the beautiful pale blue suede coat I wore to the game, albeit the end of the era of dressing up for football games. My mother would probably not approve of how I dress today. Thanks for the memories, Beth.

  3. I love older styles as a teenager! I think there was an emphasis on dressing nice everywhere due to the new commodities’ being introduced to the public after ww2.
