noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
There wasn’t an acrophobe in sight at the Slackline King Championship in China’s Zhangjiajie National Forest Park this week. Competitors from across the globe walked a line about an inch thick that was suspended 1,300 feet in the air between two peaks more than 5,000 feet apart. watch if you dare.

I’m not scared of heights as such, but would never attempt anything like that. I watched the documentary film ‘Man On Wire’ (2008) about a Frenchman walking between the Twin Towers in NYC in 1974. That was nail-biting! (The whole film is available free to watch on You Tube if you haven’t seen it.)
Best wishes, Pete.

I really do not find any redeeming quality in that, plus it is a bad example…

That looks very intense, Beth! Not for those afraid of heights!
That national park is on my wishlist to visit one day with T. The breathtaking mountains inspired the fictional floating mountains in the movie Avatar.

I totally have a fear of heights. I barely made it across the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, BC.

I do as well, and I had trouble with the bridges in Costa Rica in the jungle which were not nearly as crazy

Yeah, no thanks. I see the line attached to the foot, but I’m curious how they’re able to get themselves back up on the rope. That seems almost physically impossible, let alone resuming the walk.
