4 at Deception Island, Antarctica
this one is my favorite
—
no kings wanted on any of the 7 continents

‘if Antarctica were music it would be Mozart.
art, it would be michelangelo.
literature, and it would be Shakespeare.
and yet, it is something even greater:
the only place on earth that is still as it should be.
may we never tame it.’

False Kings and Foolish Czars
The silence of time
Will eventually bury mankind
How many false Kings
And foolish Czars
Have destroyed our peaceful yards
How many crumbling bricks
Live in your castle walls?
How foul are the deadly waters
That fill your castle moats?
How many old bridges
Have you foolishly burnt down?
How many shallow graves
Do we have to dig?
Before cemeteries overflow
How many bloody floods
Do we have to endure?
Before the final curtain falls

A worldwide rising up against the evil that has infected our world…it cannot end soon enough but in the meantime the damage continues at an unprecedented rate.

Thank you, good people of Antarctica, for standing up in opposition to this tyrant who is attempting to destroy this country and world. We must continue to rise. Strong and fearless.

There may not be many people involved in this protest, but it doesn’t make their feelings any less relevant.

How awesome to have a No Kings gathering in Antarctica too! That’s great!
We were up on Whidbey Island this weekend and found an event we could join there. My kids love being part of protests!

Yes, I admire those 3 for getting out there! I got the sense that people were doing exactly what you did on this one. Joining or just making one wherever they found themselves and that’s the best, happening organically. This is an amazing life lesson for your kids, they’ll never four and if I had to guess, I’d say that they will most likely always be activists in some form or another in the future because of these experiences. Please tell them we had a kids and dogs for democracy event next to our rally right before they made signs and the local Indy pet stores gave them gift certificates for dog costumes!
