an early long weekend
a couple of hours drive
and miles away
it’s time to have a
light show/jump on the beds/stay up late
kind of end to the day

“the higher we soar the smaller we appear to those who cannot fly”
– friedrich nietzsche

“fences are made for those who cannot fly. ”
flying high at our class circus.

and that is where we leave them –
mouths open, arms spread wide,
fingers splayed to take in the whole world,
bodies flying high in defiance of gravity,
as if they will never fall.”
– libba bray

they are flying to australia.
it will take them “70 miles long” to get there.
i have no doubt they will arrive safely and on time.
“to invent an airplane is nothing. to build one is something. but to fly is everything.
