we were an audience of six

(including the organ player)

at the beautiful michigan theatre

where we saw some amazing short films

thus proving once again that

sometimes less is more.

if you don’t have the audience, that is good, that gives you a good motivation to try to have some!”

  1. When I was an undergrad at EMU in the early eighties, a professor of mine was writing a book on the history of the Michigan Theater. I was one of many students of his who sat scrunched over microfilm machines in the library copying from the Ann Arbor News all the shows that were played there for certain years. It was good fun. A great, old theater. Thanks for the brief memory. – Marty

  2. I once went and saw foreign shorts at Baldwin Wallace College. It is rather exciting to know these are being considered for Oscars, Beth! This theater is gorgeous! I liked the arched high windows and beautiful details. 🙂
