in response to last week’s award show finale –
the platteville library in wisconsin displayed their sharp sense of humor.

“my folks came to the u.s. as immigrants, aliens, and became citizens.
i was born in boston, a citizen, went to hollywood and became an alien.”
in honor of the annual academy awards/oscars in hollywood
all of the amazing people who come to our country as aliens
only to become shining stars in our sky.
we were an audience of six
(including the organ player)
at the beautiful michigan theatre
where we saw some amazing short films
thus proving once again that
sometimes less is more.
“if you have the audience, that is good, that gives you a good motivation!
if you don’t have the audience, that is good, that gives you a good motivation to try to have some!”
