it’s that time of year again
and the ants have stopped by for their annual visit.
as i now know that their newborns may outlive me at this point
i may just leave my cottage to them in my will.

Love the quote! Now I’m curious as to what a 29 year old ant looks like…

moving a bit slower, perhaps?

As I learned, ants don’t get so old. When I see ants here, I spread cinnamon, where they get in and where they walk, they don’t like that.

ah, and that explains why they then march over to my cottage )

What does a 29 year old look like? Probably just like any other ant just a little more feeble like us. LOL ❤ ❤ Thanks Beth

i’m guessing he/she marches just a little more slowly )

An ant can live up to 29 years. The longevity of the anteater is only 16 years. No wonder ants have time to go to so many picnics.

29 years is like, 529 in ant years. These beings are miraculous!!! (and I like that quote – quite the picnic-crashers also…)

Had no idea…29. I some some of the tiny ones the other day but the weather changed again so they went back to wherever they live under my patio, the house, the garage, the entire WORLD. I can’t leave any food out for the animals or birds or they will be able to make a Sci-Fi movie in my yard. Love the quote.

29 is only how old the ants say they are on their dating profile…. they’re actually a lot older.

I LOVE THIS! AND THE START OF MY LATEST DIVORCE YEARNING BEGAN WITH ANTS LAST SPRING…AND HAS DETERIORATED EVER SINCE…I WAS BRANDED IMPATIENT AND NEGATIVE WHEN I REQUESTED THAT THE WINDOW ALLOWING THEIR UNFETTERED ENTRY MIGHT OUGHTA BE A SEALED A BIT BETTER…since then Christmas became an issue as usual, and the thermostat breaking this week-end nearly has sent me into the arms of say a hugh jackman or a russell crowe…somebody who can appreciate me and quit yelling at me over everything I think or do. other than that, I am fine…thanks for listening. 😉
