Wow! A dedicated bin. I want to join them. One day at Walmart (of all places) I saw a group of orphan bananas with a sign that said, “Pick me. I’m single!.” Gave me a grin for the day, and I picked 3 to bring home. I love guerilla marketing!
“The Misfits” sounds like the kind of club or category I might fit into quite easily. At the very least it seems companionable and tolerant of difference which are both things I like.
YES!!! Beth – have you read any of Brene Brown’s books yet? I just reading Braving the Wilderness (http://amzn.to/2y62bI3) – I think you would love it!
It’s so true. Some of us are made to blend in, to be considered “normal”. And then there are those of us who are made to stand out. That usually takes some getting used to, but once you discover there are others there with you, that’s when you can see yourself as you are – outstanding!
I like to buy those oddball produces and the name “misfits” is so cute! I definitely shop in the sales area of the veggies and fruits section, Beth. The quote was wonderful. 🌈
Thanks for doing something that only you can do, again.

Sometimes I think those labeled misfits are the normal ones and the rest of the population should be catahorized as misfits…:)
