Another one thatI heard was about 'Forget-Me-Nots'
Apparently a knight in full armour was walking with his love along the bank of the river when he spied some beautiful blue flowers growing along the bank. he went down to pick them for his love and fell into the water and with the heavy armour, was unable to save himself. As he sank beneath the waves, he cried 'Forget Me Not!'

Thank you for sharing – pussywillows are a favourite of mine too but I’d never heard the story before. We have a lovely tree in our backyard that is in full “fur” right now. The birds and bees love it!
