Beth, first days are truly special…you know that I posted about my wife’s new talk show with Kelly Clarkson, and the first day is next Monday, Sept. 9th – it’s a great, positive and empowered show…but I wanted to let you know that on Tuesday the 10th, it’s a special hour devoted to teachers, with some really incredible surprises planned!

  14. The first day of school — so full of hope and resolutions to do well; so unaware of the pitfalls on the next several months — in my case I could look at the sea of faces and know what they didn’t; some would get their hearts broken, some of their parents would split, divorce or die; some would find the class too difficult; some would have problems with alcohol or drugs. But that first day, magic.
