perhaps the perfect place
for when you want to be lost and cold at the same time
smack dab in the middle of somewhere beautiful

Piłsudskiego 38 (nieopodal Wielkiej Krokwi im. Stanisława Marusarza), Zakopane, Poland
There is something about snow that calls us to play in it regardless of our age. I can’t imagine all the hours it took to create this maze. And such a beautiful valley to put it in.

you are so right, we immediately revert to our childhood ease with play. this maze was absolutely a major undertaking –

The icy maze does look wonderful, but the sight of it makes me feel cold, even looking at the photo. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

I would only go with a group of people because I get anxious when I’m “lost”! With my luck, I’d end up slipping and landing – hard – on the packed snow! Nonetheless, there is a sense of a fun challenge that might make me want to try it!

I definitely would go with a group, as my sense of direction does not exist )

No way would I enter that maze voluntarily. Daily life is a-maz-ing enough, in my own back yard.
