if i only knew how to play the piano, read music, and was cheeky monkey.)

sunday is my very favorite day for doing something pointless or absolutely nothing.

Since I retired, Sunday is like any other day to me. Then again, I worked shifts for 33 years, so Sunday was regularly a normal working day. I have to think back to early 1979 to remember when a ‘lazy Sunday’ was a treat. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes, depending on where we are in our life’s journey, it can be very different

Sunday evening over here Beth, and I’ve had a pointless Sunday, only venturing outside to take Frankie for his walkie … it’s been cold, showery, and windy … I wrote a Senryu to amuse myself …

Eyes that do not hear the sounds

Sunday is a day to putter. For me, pretty much every day is Sunday.

Brad beat me to it… I think you are very much a cheeky monkey (and that is a good thing!) Sundays are meant for pfaffing!

I spend most days doing something pointless so am not always sure when it’s Sunday. But I agree, weekends are for pointlessness.

Hilarious…in the early days of the internet, a cat playing piano was the rage….the things we can distract ourselves with, like that painting of dogs playing poker!

You certainly do not look like a monkey! But I think you’ve got the cheeky down pat.
