We had turkey soup after Christmas, and Chicken and garlic soup after new year. This is definitely soup time! Good luck with the podcast.
Best wishes, Pete.
I am a big fan of soup as winter’s comfort food. Beef veggie, potato & corn chowder, cabbage soup and chili get rotated in the making and individual servings frozen from the batch.
It was wonderful to see you “live and in action”! Great podcast!
Such a funny story about the solid soup. I totally get you trying to save it by adding and adding ingredients while in the end, it only made things worse 😄
I am with you! Soup is always good… even if you have to slice it!
Do you know, in Québécois culture, back when you cooked with wood, there was a soup that never ended on the stove? Every day something was added, soup was served for the meal, if there were leftovers, more was simply added for the next meal.
I love love love this conversation. Still laughing about the fried up soup. But nothing is better than a hearty conversation with friends — over a cup of soup!
A funny and warming episode of the podcast, Beth :) I’ve never heard of someone slicing off a block of soup and frying it. But I can see how it would taste good!
Can I just say that it is perfectly okay to say HAPPY NEW YEAR this far into it?!!! :) HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, and I hope this one is filled with love, laughter and happiness.
🥰❤️🥰 You are the best, Beth! With or without your tiara!

thanks, and I’ve never had garlic soup. what is in it?

It is essentially a fairly thick chicken soup with lots of roasted garlic added. You can smell the garlic when it is cooking and it is supposed to be good for you. It is something like the one in this recipe. https://alldayidreamaboutfood.com/roasted-garlic-chicken-soup-low-carb-and-gluten-free/

Fun podcast. Now, the real only question I have left is do you make soup wearing your tiara? 😊
