I had to look at it for a bit to understand all of the work it took to create this piece. I feel the one in the park may have taken way less time.

I don’t know why, but animal tracks in the snow have always appealed to me. And how often do we actually pay attention to the tread on our shoes until the visible evidence encourages us to do so?

So true! I always think of it as a blanket or a quilt, and I’m adding the pattern with my footsteps. I love freshly fallen snow. It’s so peaceful. :)
