Lovely art, and the comment is so true. I would never have the patience to create mosaics, but I am glad that others do.
Best wishes, Pete.

And what’s cool is we have bits in common and others that are different and mix and match with others.

Funnily enough, I’ve had a search around the house, and there doesn’t seem to be a mosaic anywhere …

I love this photo and the accompanying message, Beth. Not to inadvertently make it political, but Canada is often described as a mosaic and I do love that philosophy and approach. We’re stronger because of our diversity!

yes, and I so agree, I’ve heard it described that way before and that’s wonderful.

Not exactly relevant to your post, but one of the houses we looked at had stained glass windows. I would love to have a home with that feature!

I love this. Today I set a desk outside along the boulevard to give away. A woman from Somalia, among our newest residents, stopped. She wanted the desk and I was so happy to give it to her. After my husband helped load it into her friend’s car, I spontaneously hugged her. It felt good and right to do so in a community where our newest immigrants are not always welcomed. She was so grateful and gracious. It was a beautiful moment in my day.
