it’s national eyewear day

so I’ll be celebrating

by scheduling my annual eye doctor appointment 

life is good

as far as I can see.

until I get my new glasses

and then things might look different.

  3. One of my favorite memories of my mom is when we were at my sister’s house, and my mom suddenly realized she had someone else’s glasses on. She started laughing so hard that we all started laughing.

  17. Thankfully your eye doctor was perhaps a bit more balanced! 😊 That’s a wonderful origin story for your blog – as someone who also can’t see beyond two feet without my glasses on.

  24. That’s an interesting blog name origin story. I also received notice that I am due for an eye exam. With my double vision, I’m not too excited about subjecting my eyes to an exam. Without my glasses, I see double. But…I will make an appointment and see what happens.
