san diego mountains
4,000 feet up
through
rocky landscapes
national forest
great expanses
up and up
and
up
winding
turns
and
twists
and
landed
in the
tiny
mountain
gold rush town
of julian
known for
apple pies
gold
stargazing
and
friendly welcomes
and
wound our way
back down again.
