great question, tomnardone – like ice dancing i guess, judges give it a 1-10 rating?

okay beth should they be judged on work they have already done or should they be be expected to perform works of art so that their form, demeanor and level if frustration can be monitored during the process.

i imagine them having to create things in real time, with an audience and the judges watching.

That’d be great if they had triathlon type events that combined more than one event: Like first, you have to paint a portrait, then you have to ski downhill and shoot arrows at targets, then you have to swim across a lake and throw a javelin and then sculpt a bust.
