Great quote! I actually was a glove sucker myself way back when..have no idea why and seriously, how gross! 🥴 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
I know it sounds weird, but I always feel bad when I see a little kitten on the ground. I think about how sad my daughter was to lose a mitten. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
Love your mittens and kittens, and suddenly I could taste the combination of snow and wet wool. Wow, that’s an old memory! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
I can’t say I ever tried the mitten sucking trick. Glad to know I didn’t need to bother! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
The other one is keeping a hand warm somewhere while the second hand is stuck in a pocket. I’ll stick to that thought, Beth. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
And now I can smell those snow encrusted mittens drying on the school radiators. They always were wool, so the snow would ball up in them, and when they began to thaw: I swear they smelled of sheep! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
Why are there an odd number of mittens? Does one kitten have a hand too many or too few? LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
perhaps they need a hand?
