“In the book A Wrinkle in Time, it says that time is like a big old rumpled blanket.
What I’d like is to be caught in one of those wrinkles.
Tucked away. Hidden in a small tight fold.”

I have one of those old rumpled (smelly) blankets on my living room couch. I curl up with it winter and summer. Don’t dare wash it or it would turn into rags.

I don’t know the book, but I am now remembering my mum tucking me into my small bed as a child. Sometimes she tucked the covers so tight, I could hardly move. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Wrinkles in time, curves in space, parallel universes … they’ve always been difficult concepts for me. But big rumpled blankets … I’ve always had at least one close at hand.

I have always found great comfort in curling up in a blanket, be it metaphorical or literal.

I dimly remember that book from when I was very small. It was at my Grandma Kennedy’s house. Oh my… I mean 67 years ago. Is that possible?
