Hi Beth: I just posted a poem about one of your recent posts and the effect it had on me: your current post was the catalyst to look back at your lovely poem , 31 cents 🙂
A field trip where no one has to stay in line fidgeting while listening to the boring museum docent and the teacher is in need of four more hands to hold down the unruly ones.
Just the other day I was thinking about how, as kids, we’d go outside in any rainy weather and jump in puddles of rain without a second thought and, now as adults, we need umbrellas and plan our steps carefully to avoid the puddles and grumble about the rain.
Yes. Rain should not keep people indoors. There are limits, obviously, but a little rain just cleans the air and gives you an excuse to wear your boots. 🙂
The bigger the classroom, the greater the lessons!

It’s so important to get kids outside! They spend way too much time on electronics. Always cool to see the rainboots 🙂
